Describe how you first got interested in snowboarding: Individualism, freedom and backside 360's
What keeps you snowboarding today? Peace of mind and knowing i'm living my life like i choose to, if you're ready for it send it!
What do you get up to when you aren't snowboarding? Working as a personal trainer at the Meadow Park Sports Center and a jump master for Whistler Bungee.
Describe the perfect day:
Winter +30cm of fresh snow, blue bird, a snowmobile full of gas and a sick ridge with a variety of lines to lap for hours. Snaking the morning line ups for "powerlaps" as Nalu calls it, on a powder day on the mountain is pretty fun. Catch me if you can! Summer Some good A-line, dirt merchant runs, a few beers to celebrate no injuries and finish the night with activities you can't say on this website.
Have you had any injuries or situations that have made you re-think your lifestyle? Only mountain biking. Broken collar bone, broken metacarpal and avulsion of the greater tuberosity in the last 3 years, wow! Does this mean anything?
Contests and freeriding. Describe likes and dislikes of both:
contests-I respect the riders who can and do but i compete enough with myself to bring it out against other riders. One of these days I'd like to make it to Kirkwood for that freeriding contest at the begining of April. freeriding-Pure, nature, scary, power, fluid, uncertain, focused, adrenaline, rewarding, creative, scenic, dream, soul, addiction, life...what
surfing the snow was meant to be.
What keeps you snowboarding today? "To boldly go were no man as gonebefore"
Where do you want to be in 10 years? 10 years back!
