Describe how you first got interested in snowboarding: When I was six my mom and dad really wanted to get back into skiing. So they asked my sister and I if we wanted to snowboard or ski. I chose snowboarding. My parents decided to put my sister and I in a snowboard lessons for two days. By the third day I was already all over the mountain and lovin' it!

What keeps you snowboarding today? The adrenalin rush and awseome powder days.

What do you get up to when you aren?t snowboarding? Skateboarding, Wakeboarding, and kicken back.

Describe the perfect day:
Winter: When a huge dump of snow falls like 1 meter over night and its an all day powder day.
Summer: When its not too hot and not too cold so I can enjoy anice day at the skatepark.

Have you had any injuries or situations that have made you re-think your lifestyle? Yes... Last season I hit one of the biggest jumps called shocker/homer on mount washington. I was having a great day on that jump having a ton of fun untill I went back out after lunch. After lunch I hit it again and landed hard on my stomache. I sucked it up and borded back to the cabin and later that night I was helicopterd to the childrens hospital. It turned out I had bruised and laserated my pancrease. I spent a week and a half in the hospital and I missed 6 weeks of school! It was a rough week anda half but, I healed up faster then the doctors thought. Now I'm alrealy stoked for next season, but I have learned that even though I already hit the jump that day it could change over the last hour that you hit it, so next time I take a break and head back out I will speed check the jumps again. My life style hasn't change because I still love the sports I do and I have the same dreams and goals in life, to become a pro snowboarder and have my own pro model snowboard and bindings.

Contests and freeriding. Describe likes and dislikes of both:
Contests: I love competing and having the park built up and having the park to myself when doing runs. I also love winning...haha...what I dont like is.. when I get warmed up and get all excited for my run then having to wait and hour for my turn...
Freeriding: Whats not to love, building powder jumps, logrides, and glades. I hate Getting stuck in deep powder/treewells...

What keeps you snowboarding today? My love for the sport and my
deturmination to be #1 Step aside shaun white!
